• 4.0 slice Bacon
• 2.5 lb Lean Stew Meat Salt And Pepper
• 8.0 oz Mushrooms
• 1.0 Large Onion

   Fry bacon and remove. Salt and pepper stew meat and brown in bacon drippings. Set aside. Saut� onion and mushrooms in drippings, adding 1 Tbsp. oil if necessary. Combine all ingredients except gherkins, bacon and rice in crockpot and cook for 4 hours on high or 6 hrs. on low. Stir in some flour mixed with water to thicken juice if necessary. Stir in pickles and bacon. Serve over hot rice. Makes 4 - 6 servings.
