In a saucepan, combine the mashed peaches with the water, sugar and cornstarch.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly until thickened. Stir in cinnamon.
Arrange the sliced peaches in the pie shell; pour the hot peach mixture over the sliced peaches.
