• 1.0 stick Butter
• 0.6667 cup Sugar
• 2.0 Eggs
• 0.6667 cup Dark Corn Syrup

Method (preview)

   Blend butter, sugar, eggs, corn syrup, oatmeal and vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Bake 40 minutes at 325 degrees.

   Gwen Says: �As a single person in the early �80s, I was invited to a friend�s holiday celebrations one year. Both Thanksgiving and Christmas, it was their tradition to serve her mom�s �Surprise Pie.� After trying to learn why it was called the Surprise Pie, I gave in and took a taste. That taste led to another. Honestly, it did taste familiar.
