Rhubarb Cake

Rhubarb Cake — een communityrecept op Potlikkr.

Ingrediënten

• 2.25 cup Light Brown Sugar
• 0.5 cup Shortening
• 1.0 Egg
• 1.0 cup Buttermilk

+ 5 ingrediënten meer — meld je gratis aan om alles te zien.

Bereiding (voorbeeld)

   Cream 1 1/2 cups sugar with the shortening. Mix the buttermilk with the baking soda and add it with the egg to the sugar mixture. Add flour alternately wiht rhubarb, then add the vanilla and pour into a greased and floured 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining sugar mixed with the cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

   NOTE: Dark brown sugar can be substituted for the light.
