• 4.0 stalk Celery

   No one will take the list of vegetables too seriously. If you cook a lot with chopped vegetables, keep the leavings. Store them in a plastic Zip-loc bag in the freezer. When the time comes, put them in the crock pot. Keep pealings such as potato and carrot, and inner celery leaves. This list is for those who are starting out, not having done this.

   Parsley is a very individual taste. Any herb used in a stock will be very intense. Try it, and change to taste. Use no salt in the stock; it gets out of hand very easily.
